I met a mother who buried her daughter,
she got way too drunk at the funeral.
She flirted with nephews, and screamed for a tissue,
she was crying about how she cries too much.
I wanted to tell her how I loved her daughter.
How everyone else loved her daughter too.
But she made me sad, so I went outside.
I thought about how I think too much, and I sighed.
I sighed.

I got no scars, just a run down car instead of a heart.
It's been sitting for years, growing rust from those beers in an abandoned yard.
It used to run fine, but after all this time, it just won't start.
Funny thing is, when I felt your kiss, I could feeling the missing part.

Giving up my regrets was always the hardest part.
